Help Madison Essentials Remain Community Focused

For 38 years, Towns & Associates has been producing custom hotel guest directories which not only promote the individual hotels, but also the communities in which they exist. In 2004, we expanded our community promotion and publication efforts to include magazines: Madison Essentials, Home Elements & Concepts, Journey of Aging, and Green Lake Magazine. In addition, we help several Wisconsin cities produce chamber guides and we publish the annual Dane Buy Local Guide. All of our publications are available free to the public in print and digitally, with the magazines being distributed at hundreds of locations statewide.
As COVID-19 changed the small-business climate in Wisconsin, we focused on determining what more we could do to help local businesses and organizations in their efforts to keep afloat. Our solution included cash donations; even more advertising donations; and sponsoring community efforts, like Soup’s On, to provide businesses a platform to take part in to benefit their staff and customers.
Unfortunately, even though we took great care to maximize the output of our resources while also keeping everyone employed, each day has financially become more difficult. But reducing our attention to clients and communities is not an option; it’s an essential part of who we are as individuals and as a business. We’re accustomed to discussions on how we can contribute, but now we find ourselves in the difficult position of asking for help. But with the need arising, we think we have a solution that will ultimately benefit our clients and communities.
With your help to us today, we are committing to pay forward that generosity dollar for dollar through donated advertising space and cash contributions to other community businesses, charitable organizations, and individuals. This will be in addition to the numerous ones we dedicate ourselves to annually.
Without community support, we wouldn’t exist; we want to make sure everyone comes with us so we can all grow from this experience. Thank you for giving what you can.
