<div>We’re reaching out to rally support for Madelynn Hasbrouck, a bright, compassionate, and determined 19-year-old who was recently diagnosed with a large schwannoma brain tumor. This serious diagnosis requires urgent surgery and a lengthy recovery, and her family could use our help as they navigate the road ahead.

<div>Madelynn had just completed her freshman year at the University of New England in Maine when her health began to change. During her spring semester, she began experiencing frequent headaches, nausea, and dizziness. After a series of medical evaluations, doctors discovered a large tumor pressing on her cranial nerves. As a result, she has permanently lost hearing in her right ear, and the tumor continues to impact her daily life. While the diagnosis has been overwhelming, Madelynn is facing it with strength and courage.

<div>Her family—lifelong residents of Norwalk, Connecticut—has deep ties to the community. Madelynn is a graduate of Brian McMahon High School and an alumna of New Canaan Country School, where her mom, Jodi, works. Her dad, Cal, and her younger brother, Major, are standing strong beside her, providing love and support every step of the way.
