<div>Maddux is a fourth grader that was severely injured during recess earlier this week when a large tree limb came from a neighboring property and fell on him. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and is still in the hospital under the care of a trauma team. The medical costs for his care and treatment are heavy as he has suffered a severe concussion, facial fractures, eye injuries, and is facing hearing loss. There is a revolving door of doctors and specialists with an endless amount of questions that are unable to be answered at this time. He has several long months of recovery ahead of him which may include surgery and a lot of physical therapy. Maddux’s family and community are rallying behind him to support his recovery as his parents are having to take unpaid time off from work to be with and care for him leaving their family without income. It will be months before he is able to return to regular day-to-day activity. I’m looking for support for the family to help with medical costs, loss of income, aid in the care of his two sisters, and relieve some of the burden of this tragic incident. Anything you can give is so appreciated!
