Help Lydia Heal

On April 30th, 2018 Lydia Colón suffered a fall off of a two story ladder. The damages were severe. She broke her left femur as well as suffering several facial and skull fractures. She is lucky to be alive, and is currently in a medically-induced coma to prevent any swelling in her brain while awaiting surgery on her leg. She will be out of work for at least several months due to the severity of her injuries. Those who know Lydia know how kind, bubbly, and hard working she is. Lydia is truly the definition of a free-spirit, as you would often see her doing yoga poses wherever she was. She is a self-described hippie and demonstrates this with the compassion and love she shows to everyone she meets. She is currently paying her way through college by taking one or two classes per semester while working 5 days a week.  She recently moved her younger sister Suzy to Georgia and the two of them have no other family in the state. Lydia was supporting herself but also supporting Suzy by paying her rent and helping her out financially while she tries to find her footing here in Georgia. The money being raised here will go towards paying her rent, covering her costs of living, helping out with the inevitable medical bills she is about to incur, and easing some of the financial pressure that has now fallen upon Suzy. Anything that you can donate will be greatly appreciated by Lydia and Suzy and will have a tremendous impact on their lives, easing some of the stress on the road to recovery that Lydia has in front of her.
