Help Lukas and family

As most of you know our journey through pregnancy, delivery and two babies in two different nicus and now one home and one still in the hospital it has been quite a trip already. Never in a million years would I think I would find myself typing this but here I am. I am very hard on myself and hate asking for help, but i really see no other choice at this point. There are things we need and are going to need now and others we will need in the near future that with all the chaos we can't afford. The pregnancy in general was unexpected... then adding twins to the mix was a whirl wind but I believe everything happens for a reason and every baby deserves a chance at life and will love with all my heart. We would make this work... the extra travel and appointments and ultrasounds, and later the NSTs and preterm contractions and being in and out of the hospital myself to the emergency c section that beought them into this world September 12th. Lukas was born with a slow heart rate, little blood, and barely breathing. He had a blood transfusion right away and was in critical but stable condition on a ventilator, blood pressure meds, iv nutrients, and possibly needing a second transfusion. From that point On he has awed doctors with how well he has pulled through everything. Slowly beating it all. His kidneys were in bad shape for a while so they sent him to childrens expecting to have to do surgery and kept dominik at west penn since he was doing good. Luckily lukas didnt need the surgery. 2 weeks traveling to 2 different hospitals and paying parking at both was tiring and expensive. Luckily mr Dominick finally came home Friday September 29th. On Monday October 2nd , mr Lukas had an MRI done on his brain, the doctors have found significant damage due to the lack of oxygen to his brain when he was born. With that being said we will have a long road ahead of us in the future the areas of his brain that were damaged has to do with vision, hearing, and development there is a very high possibility that he will never walk on his own, he could be blind, and have learning delays. We will have to follow up with a bunch of doctors after discharge on Saturday. Along with an endocrine doctor since he is just recently having issues with his thyroid on top of all he has already went through . the financial burden of travel to and from pittsburgh has taken it's toll along with parking. There are also many things we weren't able to get before the babies came and now since we have had to travel can no longer afford. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to even read this.
