Help Luis and Santos Support Their Family.

Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters,

My name is Stanley Velasquez, and I am the son of Luis Velasquez and Santos Garcia, a hardworking and beloved couple who have dedicated over a decade of their lives to serving our community. Today, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, asking for your help during an incredibly challenging time for our family.

Earlier this month, my father, Luis, After 14 years of tireless dedication, my father lost his job.

When my father, who suffers from diabetes, became physically ill due to the stress of the situation, he collapsed in the parking lot and had to be rushed to the hospital.

My mother, Santos, who worked alongside my father for all these years, recently suffered a fall at work walking down some stairs. She is still attending physical therapy, the injuries she sustained left her unable to continue working.

Now, they are facing financial hardship and emotional distress. My dad was always happy and energetic, would always start a conversation with random people to the point where it would embarrass me because of all the dad jokes he would crack up but now after what they’ve gone through he’s been in his room depressed and does not want to get up. I miss seeing my dad being loud and happy. He is depressed because all he thinks about is how will he be able to support his family and bills especially now that he is stuck with 2 big hospital bills. It is hard trying to find work for him due to his language barrier and because of his diabetes.

We are asking for your support to help my parents:

Cover bills and essential expenses while they recover and navigate this difficult time.

And help them be able to feed and support my 2 young sisters Samantha (8 years of age) and Alondra (4 years of age).
