Help Lucky T Thrift Build a Home in Charlottesville!
Hi, my name is Ben, and along with my sister Jess, I co-own and operate Lucky T Thrift, a small pop-up thrift shop based in Charlottesville, VA. Lucky started as a passion project—a way to bring affordable clothing and unique, vintage treasures to our community. Over time, it has grown into something much bigger: a mission-driven initiative for creativity, collaboration, and connection.
As a queer-owned and operated business, our dream is to open a permanent storefront that serves Charlottesville’s queer community—a space that once existed here but has long since disappeared. We want Lucky to be more than a shop; we dream of a place where people can gather, feel seen, and be part of something special.
Right now, we’re facing some hard times, and we need just a little help to keep moving forward. We’re raising funds to cover essential expenses to outfit these spaces and take the next step toward making our dream a reality. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to creating a lasting space for vintage lovers, makers, and creatives of all kinds.
If you’ve ever found something special at Lucky, attended one of our events, or simply believe in what we’re building, we’d be so grateful for your support. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
