Help Lucky Stars Sanctuary help wildlife

Lucky Stars is a non-profit organisation that aims to care for animals and alleviate animal suffering by providing refuge and treatment.
They also deliver education to the community about animal welfare issues and care.
The streams of footprints behind the star in their logo represent Farm, Wildlife and Domestic animals. The human footprints have been added as in this journey they have helped just as many humans through education and contact with all the animals needing care.
Lucky Stars has and will play a key role in providing refuge, treatment and rehabilitation to misplaced, sick and injured wildlife.
Generally sanctuaries are under-resourced, spread so thin and run off their feet that they don’t get a moment to promote the invaluable work that they are doing to raise funds.
For that reason, I have created this fundraiser to help Lucky Stars through this horrific drought and fire season. The funds raised will go towards feed, water and supplies for animals, including orphaned wildlife, with costs no doubt increasing in light of the horrific situation at hand.

Who you are and where you’re from:
I am a Melbourne-based animal advocate who is passionate about raising funds for grass roots organisations who urgently need assistance.
Your relationship or contact to the parties you're raising funds for:
I was made aware of the work Kerrie does with other animals from another animal advocate and I met her early last year at a forum where she gave a take on the work she does with animals.
How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible):
These funds will be used to help the animals in Kerrie’s care and those who come into care from the fires. It will be spent on buying in water which their tanks are no longer supplying, and feed.
Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary/ies
As GoFundMe doesn’t pay out the full anount at once, I transfer the funds raised in advance, along with any additional funds raised post the fundraiser closing. This allows them to access the the funds ASAP. I then am reimbursed with the deposits from GoFundMe.
I have already transferred the bulk of the funds raised to Lucky Stars, plus one extra transfer for another donation that came through and will deposit the last little bits once this issue is resolved.
