Hi everyone,

My name is Hani, and I’m reaching out for help for my beloved 11-year-old cat, Lucky.

Lucky is an indoor cat and truly part of my family. He’s been my loyal companion since he was a kitten loving, curious, and always by my side through everything. But now, Lucky is very sick and fighting for his life.

He’s been struggling to breathe because of fluid buildup in his lungs, and after several vet visits and lab tests, he’s been diagnosed with kidney failure, pneumonia, and a tumor. His bloodwork from Truscott Animal Hospital showed dangerously high levels of creatinine, urea (BUN), and SDMA, meaning his kidneys are not functioning properly.

Lucky has been receiving fluids for dehydration, anti-nausea medication (Cerenia), and Solensia injections to help manage his arthritis and pain every month. Despite all of this care, his breathing remains difficult, his appetite is low, and his condition requires continuous and costly treatment to keep him stable and comfortable.

I’ve already spent everything I have and gone into debt trying to save him, but I can’t give up. Lucky has been my comfort, my best friend, and my family for over a decade. Watching him struggle to breathe and knowing he’s in pain breaks my heart every day.

I’m asking for your help to raise $5,000 CAD to cover his ongoing vet care, medications, hospitalization, and emergency treatments to manage his kidney failure, pneumonia, and tumor.
