<div>This is Lucius. He is the son of my dog, Blue Frankenstein, and Linda Cabaniss' dog.

<div>He got sick a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. We took him to a vet in Albuquerque, and they gave him pills for pneumonia.
</div>
<div>When they ran out, he went down. We then took him to CSU for more info. Turns out he had a UTI that turned septic and attacked his joints. He was in critical care for a week. He is now back in NM in need of rehab once a week to help get his strength back to be able to run like a dog should. He is capable of a full recovery but needs to continue meds and rehab, which will cost $300 a week. <strong>I am asking for help because I maxed out all my credit cards at CSU with their life-saving care.</strong>

<div>We cannot continue the rehab that he needs for his full recovery. <strong>Lucius has come so far and is walking on his own on his front feet and still needs help getting up and balance with his back feet.</strong> Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated because we don’t want to give up now when we can see a happy ending in sight, and he is a fighter.
