<div>I am Stephen Amir and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my partner Lucid, who I love more than life itself. Lucid’s family is divorcing, leaving it at risk of homelessness and without the funds to rebuild its life due to financial abuse. We want to move in together, and I am financially supporting it, but we are both young and do not currently have lucrative careers, so anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Thank you so so much for your kindness.

<div>My name is Lucid, and I'm reaching out today because I'm in a dire situation that I can't get out of without help. I am an autistic, nonbinary lesbian, and I come from a low-income family in Texas. I <span>have been left in a difficult position for a long time due to my family and an abusive ex controlling my finances with my credit card and creating a massive amount of debt for me with no plan to pay it back. I </span><span>am carrying thousands of dollars in debt due to this that is severely affecting my credit score, making it impossible to secure a stable apartment or even a car. Without a good credit score, I can't get approved for basic things like housing or reliable transportation, which are vital to turning things around.</span>

<div>I currently have a job, but the wages being offered are not enough to live on. My parents are divorcing, leaving me stuck with the bill and limited time remaining in guaranteed housing. I feel stuck, with no way out. <span>I need help to get back on my feet and gain control of my life back. The money I'm asking for will go towards:</span>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Paying off my debt to improve my credit score, paying it in full so I can close my card ASAP and have no more cards be made in my name from my family

</div>

<div>• Getting enough financial stability to avoid homelessness and have savings for

</div>

<div>myself

</div>

<div>• Covering basic living expenses until I can secure a better job and gain some financial independence with the help of friends and my partner

</div>

<div>• Move out of the state and start all over again, find a new place outside of this city to live with my partner

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm desperate. I've tried everything I can think of, and I simply don't have the resources to make it through this without help. Your generosity will not only help me survive but give me the chance to create a better life for myself, one where I can finally support myself and make a real future possible.

</div>

</div>

<div>Any amount you can contribute will help me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I am eternally grateful for your support. I will provide updates here. My wonderful partner is running this campaign to avoid my family potentially stealing any funds, as I will need to pay off my debt fully, rather than in increments, to close my card safely and securely once and for all and have no more cards in my name being created. I am immensely grateful for any support.
