<div>We are heartbroken to share that Sacha Charles — a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend — was taken from us far too soon, in what police have recognized as an act of femicide.

<div>Sacha’s entire world revolved around her two beautiful children, Luca (8) and Kathryn (3). Her warmth, laughter, and fierce love will be remembered by everyone who knew her.

<div>Luca and Kathryn are now in the care of Sacha’s family, who are doing everything they can to create a stable and nurturing home as the children begin to rebuild their lives. But starting over after such trauma brings tremendous challenges — from finding suitable housing to covering childcare, daily essentials, therapy, and long-term education.
