<div>My name is Kristy Ingersoll. Luba is one of my dear friends, and so I am honored to share a bit of the Carlson's story with you, and to have you join us in supporting Luba and Gabe during this difficult time.

<div>Luba is pregnant with their fourth child, due in August. They were stunned with multiple diagnosis' for their sweet little one. Baby has heterotaxy syndrome, which means organs in the body are formed abnormally, in the wrong position, or are missing. There has also been a very serious diagnosis of a heart defect, which sadly often accompanies heterotaxy. We will not fully know the severity of the situation until after baby's birth. Please join us in praying that baby makes it to full term and can be delivered naturally!

<div>Once baby is born, unless there is a miracle (which we know all things are possible with God), surgery is imminent on baby's heart, and possibly other organs. With the various medical concerns, they really feel like the Lord is leading them to temporarily relocate their family to Boston for two main reasons: 1. in order to deliver at Boston Children's Hospital and 2. for more family support for their children. Gabe's parents live about 2 hours outside of Boston, and they are fully on board and ready to scoop up and care for their other three grandchildren while Gabe and Luba are at the NICU, hospital, and/or various doctors appointments. However, because Gabe's parents are still so far from Boston, Luba and Gabe will need to rent a place to stay closer to the hospital so the two of them can easily and quickly be there for baby and respond as needed (and you all know the cost of renting these days... not to mention gas etc.). Of course insurance will cover some of the medical costs, but again you know there will be more costs to the family than what is covered.

<div>Please consider donating to help the Carlson's as they faithfully take one step after another on this journey. And please PRAY for God to continue to show them His love and mercy; for peace and patience as they wait in the unknown, and for a continual drawing nearer to Him... the ultimate source of hope.

<div>"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." Psalm 139:13-16
