Help LPC Survive the COVID-19 Crisis

Hello LPC Alumni Family,
What a year. Somehow the holidays and 2021 are right around the corner. Our new normal of COVID19, mask wearing and social distancing is a constant reminder of how much has changed in 2020. LPC has been through a lot over these 36 years, but 2020 has been very hard. We’ve been up and running again with rooms full of happy, inquiring children since early July. In fact, a kindergarten room was added to fill a need within our community. But as you can imagine, classrooms are smaller, teachers can no longer “float” and the cost of cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, air purifiers, and more have stretched our budget very thin.
As an Alumni Family, I humbly ask you to considering donating to LPC. If there was ever a time your donation could make a difference, it is this year. We need your support to keep our wonderful, non-profit education center going. If you desire to support a specific initiative, our scholarship program is in desperate need. As an Alumni Family, you know the magical experience that our nurturing, thoughtful, play-based education at LPC provides for children. We want to provide that experience to as many children as we can, especially those who could use a little assistance. Any amount will help.
LPC is a 501(c)3 non-profit and your donation is a charitable gift for tax purposes. Be sure to also check to see if your employer matches gifts which would allow you to double your donation! It is usually an easy process. Donations can be made here or you can mail a check payable to Lexington Playcare Center. If you would like to direct your donation to the scholarship, simply note that in the Go Fund Me comment box or check memo.
