<div>My sister Lourdes, a Pasadena native, and Lily, her girlfriend, just recently lost their entire home to the Eaton fires. Lourdes and Lily have always worked tirelessly to make their home loved and special - a special place for all their friends to meet and feel welcome. They’re currently facing financial insecurity, as Lourdes, a teacher at Oak Knoll Montessori, had her campus destroyed by the fire, and Lily, a teacher aid, lost her car. My sister and her girlfriend are two incredible, kind, caring individuals who have always gone above and beyond for every stranger they encounter, every animal (having four cats and a gecko), and every piece of the world around them. It saddens me that this natural disaster has shaken their lives in a moment when we least expected it, and as renters, it will be even harder for them to get back on their feet. They’re hoping to be able to buy basic necessities, such as clothes, shoes, toiletries as most of their belongings perished in the fire and ultimately try to return to normalcy. Any help would be incredible and greatly appreciated - as well as any sharing of the gofundme! Thank you so so much and I hope everyone is staying safe!
