Help Louise Kick Cancer's Butt

I don't even know where to begin.  So many of you know my wonderful BFF, my Sister From Another Mister, Louise.  She has been my bestie since we were 15 at LHS.  She was in both of my weddings, there for the birth of my daughter, the shoulder I most often cried upon through both my divorces, all life's ups and downs.  Our children have each others' family names.  She is woven into every inch of the fabric of my life.

And Louise has breast cancer.

I do not know of a family history.  She is a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, teacher.  This is a total shock, and through the most harrowing part, Louise just didn't want to worry anyone.  Because that is the sort of Warrior she is.

Louise has shielded so many loved ones from worry, and helped us all through our darkest times, and now we want to help her.

Now, my sweetest friend is going to have decuctibles and co-pays that are enormous.  She is going to need MONTHS off from her TWO jobs to concentrate on healing.  A surgery is done, but many weeks of exhausting Chemo and radiation remain.  And I am sick at heart to imagine her worrying over, and wasting precious energy on, financial concerns.

This woman taught me what it means to be a Mother and an Educator.  I learned from watching her, how to be a patient parent and an engaging teacher.  I learned from her to celebrate all the stages of a child's development.  She showed me that you can use creativity and fun in any lesson.

Louise has the most amazing, positive attititude, and a radiant inner strength that endears her to all of us who's lives she has touched.  I can not even begin to imagine the worry of her family....  When you have been blessed with someone who was your Rock and your Light, it is excruciating to imagine them enduring pain.

Will you please help Louise with the mounting and uncovered costs of being a Cancer Warrior?  Her deductibles, co-pays, and loss of income could be staggering for her family.  Please help me with any small donation you can muster, and as many "shares" as you can manage.

This is a woman who has selflessly educated hundreds of tiny people, and served as a role model and mentor to countless others.  I would be honored to help her in any way that I can.
