Help Louise get back on her feet!

Hi my name is Danyelle. I'm doing this for my Aunt Louise. She is a Covid-19 survior. Louise got sick in early march and just assumed it was a normal bug going around. By March 24th she was admitted to the hospital and on a ventilator. She was on that vent for 26 days. Things were extremely touch and go. The doctors told us not even to expect her to ever make it home. Louise never stopped fighting and she wound up bringing herself off of the ventilator. After her 39 day stay in the hospital she was then moved to a rehabalition center to work on her motor skills. She made great strides while she was in there but definitely still had some work to do. After 44 days she was finally able to make it home in June. Since then there have been plenty of doctors and therapy appointments. She's never given up hope even when things looked bleak. Just recently she able to get her own hair into a ponytail. Let me tell you, she sure was excited that day! Even with all the amazing steps forward we've taken Louise still needs help. She has used up her savings and the unemployment she is getting is less than $400 a month. The goal for us is to get her up to 6 months of house payments. Which would be around the $5,000 goal we have set. After everything she has gone through these past few months I feel like that's the least we can do.
