Help Louis get the Treatment he needs

Hello
My name is "Louis" and I'm a 6 week old Chihuahua and I was just diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is Cerebospinal Fluid in the brain. And I may need surgery to have a shunt put in my head to drain the fluid off of my brain, along with additional tests that are required such as an MRI, Bloodwork, and any other tests that are neccessary to help me.  My family needs help paying for this treatment. I go back to the hospital Wednesday January 13th to sed the Neurologist. So please donate to help get me the treatment I need...
Please help me !

What is Hydrocephalus?

Hydrocephalus (from the Greek, meaning water on the brain), is an excess of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that has leaked inside the skull, leading to brain swelling. CSF is the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord, providing both nutrients and protection. Build-up of CSF can occur in the brain if the flow or absorption of CSF is blocked or too much CSF is produced by the body. This leads to increased pressure within the skull that presses on the sensitive brain tissues. Increased intracranial pressure can lead to permanent, irreversible brain damage and death.

How is hydrocephalus treated?

In the acute or early phases of hydrocephalus, treatment is directed toward reducing CSF production and inflammation by using corticosteroids (steroids, such as cortisone or prednisone). In more severe or chronic cases, anti-seizure medications will be needed, and drugs such as furosemide, acetazolamide, and omeprazole may benefit affected dogs.
Surgery to place a tube that runs from the open spaces in the brain to the abdomen (ventriculoperitoneal shunt) can be performed at some veterinary teaching or specialty hospitals. Success rates as high as 80% are reported in cases treated early.

Update 1/13/21: Louis went to the Neurologist today and they have prescribed him Omneprazol to help control the production of CFS fluid in his brain. We are going to keep an eye in him for the next two months and if he gets worse they will get him in immediately for an MRI to detect how much fluid is in his brain. And if needed; schedule him for surgery. His next appointment is scheduled for Monday, March 15, 2021
