Louie Palmer is my dear friend, and on May 18, his life changed in an instant. He was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The driver never stopped, leaving Louie badly hurt and struggling to walk. He spent a week in the hospital, and the injuries were so severe that he lost vision in his right eye and now needs another eye surgery.

The medical bills are piling up, and he needs help with daily essentials like food and medication. Every day is a struggle, but Louie is determined to recover and provide for his family.
