Help! Loss of Home & Livelihood in House Fire

Donation protected
On August 7th, the Russell family home caught fire with SoulFest co-founder, Alison Russell and her nephew Gabe Dawber inside. Alison, who was sleeping at the time of the fire, was woken by her nephew and removed from the home. Alison’s son, Jesse Russell, also lives in the home but was not there at the time of the fire. It seems likely that the family cat Snow White did not make it out of the fire.

The loss of the house not only affects Alison, who is newly retired and daily battling Parkinson’s disease, but also her son, and nephew who has been living with them. Jesse, a professional musician and engineer, lost most of his collection of instruments in the fire, along with priceless mementos from the Russell's long careers in the music industry.

Funds raised from this GoFundMe will go directly to Alison Russell, to help her and the family resettle into temporary housing while insurance is getting sorted out or cover basic needs in the midst of this huge loss. Please join us in praying for The Russells as they navigate this difficult time.
