Help Lori with her cancer battle

I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my 52-year old sister, Lorraine Pratt. For two months, Lorraine had a persistent fever. She went to the doctor who ordered a battery of tests. A CT scan showed a large mass on one of her lungs. A biopsy confirmed lung cancer (adenocarcinoma).
Nine months ago, Lorraine lost her job after 20 years with the same company and subsequently lost her medical insurance. Since she is also a severe diabetic, she couldn’t afford not to have medical insurance so she is paying out-of-pocket for health insurance that has high deductibles and high co-pays. She used a large portion of her savings for living expenses while unemployed. She recently found new employment, however, she doesn’t qualify for medical coverage. She has been having to take unpaid days off work for testing with more to come when she has surgery and follow-up treatment. We are graciously asking for your help with living expenses and medical bills during this time. The expenses for the testing that she has had to this point have already been a financial burden and her journey to recovery has only begun.
So far, the cancer has not spread anywhere. Lorraine has a couple of more tests left before the oncologist will schedule her for surgery.
Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated. All donations will go only to medical bills and living expenses.
