Help Lori Lecco and Family

On February 23rd, 2019, Lori Lecco suffered a massive stroke at home.  She was rushed to the ER and had endovascular surgery to remove blood clots that were restricting flow to the left side of her brain.

After a few weeks in ICU and the hospital, Lori was transferred to a Skilled Nursing Facility.  She is currently undergoing Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy 6 days per week. She is unable  to speak or walk.  She has lost complete use of her right arm and leg.  Lori is classified as 100% bed assist; which means she needs  assistance to sit up, eat, and use the bathroom.  She needs a Hoyer Lift to transfer her from her bed to a wheelchair.

We are hoping that Lori will be discharged soon so she can return home. The family faces significant costs associated with caring for Lori at home, including: 24-hour care service, purchase of a wheel-chair transport van, remodeling of their home to make it wheelchair accessible (doors, bathroom, wheel chair ramp), and additional ongoing therapy sessions.

In addition to your financial support, please keep Lori and the Lecco family in your thoughts and prayers. We will keep you updated over the next several weeks and months. Thank you!
