My name is Lori and I'm trying to raise money for my son and myself. He is disabled. We recently lost our home and have been staying in my car. With the stress that creates, accompanied by the freezing temperatures, Jacob's epilepsy has taken a toll. We did spend one night in the emergency room because his seizures were rather bad.

Salvation Army will not let me stay with him, and with his seizures being as bad as they are, he is too scared to stay there alone.

Although I am grateful we have heat in my car, I can't always afford to keep it running for us to benefit from the heat.

Jacob has had 8 brain surgeries in his life, along with a partial lobectomy of his lateral left temporal lobe.

With it being the holiday season, I know things are tight for everyone, but for us, we are not even celebrating Christmas. We are just trying to be warm and dry and without seizures. I am so embarrassed to even create this page, but with him being discharged today and not even sure we can get to my car, I know that any small donation would be greatly appreciated and help.
