For years, I worked hard as a single parent, focusing my attention on my family and often neglecting my own health. Over time, my health declined to the point where I could no longer work. This past year, I have been under the care of five different doctors, following a long list of medical instructions in hopes of improving my condition.

 Now, I am facing major abdominal surgery at the end of December. It is critical that I have this procedure before my insurance coverage ends, as the cost would be impossible to manage on my own. The surgery is necessary for me to regain my health and stability.
