Poor Lolli has a tear in her right ACL, a very painful injury, and a luxated patella in her left leg.

For a dog that was given nothing from life she has never let it bother her. She is the result of inbreeding dogs in order to create the ultimate tiny package. Instead it resulted in two mutated to nearly unrecognizable stillborns and two survivors, Lollipup and Otterpup. However, Otterpup though appearing normal was found after a couple weeks to not have a formed esophagus and didn’t make it. Lolli had deformities too, most obviously missing her front legs. To her benefit I’m not sure she even knows she is missing them as she crickets at top speed through the short grass, that is still taller than her when she lies down. Always a full body wiggle and happy yaps to greet her family and friends she will also sing with you and doesn’t judge if you aren’t on key. Stairs don’t bother her and she loves to go on adventures unsupervised to find warm laundry, roll in the grass, or “dig” in the sand. Her favorite toys are those meant for a Great Dane, because she doesn’t understand what the tiny ones are used for. If you ever needed a peptalk from a dog, she would tell you to shoot for the stars. Lolli has spent her life on the only two legs she was given, but they are failing her now. She has pushed through and keep positive through it all, even when you can tell she is in extreme pain. If anyone deserved new knees it would be her, because if someone needed her help she wouldn’t hesitate to give them what little she has without asking for anything back.

Lolli is fearless and so full of life I can’t have her put down without at least trying to raise the funds that can help her.
