Hi, everyone.
My name is Loki, and I’m an 18-month-old Great Pyrenees with a very important job. Alongside my brother Odin, I proudly protect the goats, chickens, and ducks at Odom Poultry Farm. This is my home, and I love every moment of caring for the animals and spending time with my family.
But something terrible happened this Thanksgiving. While defending the farm, I was injured. The top paw of my left back foot was bitten off, and the damage is severe. My vet says my leg can’t be saved—the bones are shattered, and the tendons are torn. I need surgery to amputate my leg so I can heal and eventually get back to doing what I love: protecting the farm and cuddling with my hoomans.
My family rescued me in January and gave me a second chance at life. They love me so much, but the cost of my surgery is beyond their reach right now. This is where we need your help.
If you’ve ever met me, you know I’m a big softie at heart—a lover as much as I am a protector. I want nothing more than to recover and continue bringing joy and safety to everyone around me.
Your support can make all the difference. Whether it’s a donation or sharing my story, every little bit helps. Thank you for being part of my journey to healing.
With love and gratitude,
Loki & the Odom Poultry Farm Family
