Help Loki fight this battle & bring him home

Hi everyone, me an Dereck want to start out by saying thank you for all the love so far on this journey.

This sweet boy is Loki, he is a 3 year old Great Dane Rottweiler mix, he is our ENTIRE world besides our other babies, lol. He is so funny, loves to play and jump like a bunny a snuggle (only when he wants) he paws your for attention an he just loves everyone especially his sisters, he protects them so much an they love him so much!

This Is where things start to spiral. About a month ago we took him to the vet for a stuffy nose, they didn’t think anything of it just that it was a stuffy nose here is some antibiotics and a steroid. 2 weeks later the nose is now very dry an crusty an bleeding, we bring him back they said okay let’s start with this steroid an here is some gut health medication, if you know me my dog eats VERY well, so gut health isn’t the issue.

Finally last weekend we bring him back because his face had so much swelling his right eye was swollen an his jaw had a massive lump. We brought him to our vet we have gone to for years, they said oh it’s a bee sting go buy some over the counter Benadryl an he should be fine within 48-72 hours.

Here we are August 28th, the day after they told us some devastating an uncertainty news. He had a massive infection, white blood cell count is over 58,000 an they said they are concerned about cancer. The minute they said this we lost it. I simply couldn’t believe we went from a stuffy nose, to a bee sting to NOW cancer. we are processing this all they said he would be okay to go home. We bring him home and within 3 hours he spikes 106 fever an we are back at the emergency Vet.

This morning he is going in for surgery number 2, to place a drain send samples out and to confirm the diagnosis as to what exactly is going on with our sweet boy.

as you can imagine the expenses are soooo much but we will do anything for our boy!
