Help Logan Get Medical Treatment

Logan was pulled into the rescue when someone dumped him in a feral colony with all four of his paw pads raw, burnt and very painful. He was given the medical attention he desperately needed and was placed in a foster home. Logan may have some Maine Coon in him because at 17 pounds he was the perfect size.
Last month he was having trouble eating and began losing weight. Even after several vet visits he continued to lose weight and then stopped eating all together. Logan was taken to the ER vet twice, after he started with a URI and became very congested, but still nothing was found that would cause his rapid weight loss. He was somewhat anemic; on the border for needing a transfusion. He had xrays, which showed air in his abdomen. His ultrasound showed possible mild pancreatitis and some underlying heart disease. Still nothing found that would cause him to lose that much weight in such a short period of time.
Today, Logan weighs just over 8 pounds, half his normal body weight. He is having a feeding tube put in so he can get much needed nutrition to help him get stronger. He will need to see a cardiologist for an echocardiogram and more tests to try to find out what's wrong.
Logan's medical bills have reached almost $1500 and are going to continue to grow. Our rescue has had several recent medical cases and can use help to cover Logan's bills.
