In late 2023, Liza discovered a lump in her breast. By 2024, the lump had grown, and she began experiencing severe hip pain. Concerned, she sought medical attention in November 2024, where an ultrasound and mammogram revealed the heartbreaking news: it was cancer. Further tests, including a biopsy, confirmed that it was invasive breast carcinoma. A lung X-ray showed that the cancer had spread to her lungs, and a bone scan revealed that it had also reached her bones. Doctors diagnosed Liza with stage 4 breast cancer with bone metastasis.

Since then, Liza has been bravely fighting this disease. She has completed three cycles of chemotherapy and is currently preparing for three more cycles with higher intensity before undergoing surgery to remove her breast. Afterward, she will need radiation therapy for 30 days. This journey has been long and painful, but Liza has shown incredible strength in the face of it all.
