Sofia will walk!

Dear friends,
Today I am writing the most difficult post for me ....
Please accept my apology for such a long text.... I appreciate if you read it till the end.
Unfortunately, I reach that stage when from despair, I have to appeal for your help and share with you my story.
My husband and I were delighted when I share with him the news about my pregnancy.
On 12th January 2016, absolutely unexpectedly (long before due date) Sofia came to this world.
Our premature baby was born at the 29th week of pregnancy, weighing only 1 kg 170 g. Over two months Sofia has spent in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The first two weeks after the birth, Sophia was doing well and appear to be an entirely healthy baby. But on 26 January doctor announce the terrible news – during the night baby had a major intraocular ventricular haemorrhage in the brain, which leads to a shocking diagnosis - infantile cerebral palsy.
At this point our life has been divided on prior and after.
At that time, we were refusing to believe that there is something wrong with our beautiful baby. We prayed for a miracle and kept hoping that everything would be fine. But the reality turned out to be very cruel.
In May 2016, another shock awaited for us. My husband was diagnosed with intestinal cancer at the stage when there are multiple metastases in the liver and lungs. Two months later, on 16 July 2016, he was gone.
Two weeks later after I’ve lost my husband, I found out that he has left me a Gift - it turned out that I was pregnant again and a few months later I gave birth to a lovely baby son.
In November same year, my daughters Sophia has been finally confirmed the diagnosis - cerebral palsy - tetraparesis (which means all four limbs do not work as it should) and epilepsy.
And so I was left alone with two little angels, one of whom needs your help!!!
I try all my best to heal my daughter Sofia. It been few times we attended specialised consultations and treatments. We underwent four courses of treatment in Kiev, including medication, massages, and speech therapy. We were on rehabilitation in best the best therapy centres of Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Belgium.
I am so grateful to the doctors and specialists for their care approach and for the belief that continuing treatment will help to improve Sofia’s walking skills
Now Sofia is almost 8 years, my little lady.
I hope one day she will wear heels and dress, but now we are fundraising for the orthoses (splints) and treatment sessions.

Unfortunately, I  must ask for additional financial support as I cannot handle just with my salary.

Any little helps - that’s really true! Past year the donation of £10 from a friend helped me organise the last session of the year and close the treatment circle - 1 step closer to the walking dream.

I hope for your understanding very much and your kind support is very welcome.

Please feel free to share this post, any help is help!

Thank you for being so kind even by reading till the end. It mea you are not indifferent and this is very valued.
