Help LITTLE Sage's BIG Journey

Donation protected
My brother newly got engaged to his beautiful, fiancé, Alicia. I must say I have never met a couple more suited and in love with each other.

Aaron has always been a family man, and soon after their engagement flew Alicia to Launceston to spend some quality time with his son Bronik; the most gentle, and kind two year old boy you could imagine. Aaron and Alicia wanted to spend some quality time alone with Bronik before the birth of his little sister which was due to arrive early November 2018.
Sadly on the 26th August while in Launceston with his family, they received news his grandfather whom he loved very much, had passed away. Upset by the news, Aaron wanted to fly immediately back to attend the funeral.

We received more terrible news the following day; Alicia’s waters broke, over two months early and nowhere near full term of her pregnancy. Aaron raced her to Launceston hospital, where they attempted to stop Alicia’s contractions in an attempt to save the life of their unborn baby.
The small hospital was ill equipped to deal with such a premature birth; Aaron, Alicia and their unborn baby, were rushed onto an emergency flight and airlifted to The Royal Hobart Hospital.

Still unable to stop the contractions, Alicia underwent an emergency C-Section, giving birth to a beautiful little baby girl, Sage. Only Sage was more than two months premature and needed emergency medical attention.

Aaron and Alicia were told, a very weak Sage, would have to undergo medical treatment for over two months in hospital; requiring around the clock treatment and monitoring; very upsetting news.
I am pleased to say Sage is improving each day, much to the delight of Aaron, Alicia and their families. However, being so far from home they have found themselves stranded in Tasmania, to care for little Sage. Unable to leave for more than two months, Aaron has had to leave his job to remain with his family, (His boss has kindly informed him that his job is still secure upon his return to Sydney – which is an amazingly generous offer).

While Sage is in ICU, Aaron and Alicia have had to pay for their accommodation, food and the growing medical expenses. The funds they have personally saved up are running out fast; health care and Medicare can only cover so much
Alicia and Aarons families have flown down to see the arrival of little Sage, and offered financial assistance where they could. Sage has been in ICU for a few weeks now and continues to fight, and grow stronger each day.

A beautiful man overheard Aaron and Alicia’s story and so generously paid for two nights accommodation anonymously for them. They could not have been more grateful and appreciative to this person, and I would honestly love to know who this man is so we can thank him.

Because I, and the rest of Aaron and Alicia’s family are so far away, I wanted to help them any way that I could. Creating this go-fund me page, is the least I could do.

Aaron and Alicia are proud people and would never ask for help; so I am. I’m asking on their behalf for help. Any form of donation would be greatly received no matter how small or large. Your kind donation would go towards, their medical expenses, accommodation while in Tasmania and their day to day living expenses while abroad.

I thank you in advance for your kind thoughts and donations.
