Help little Ollie say thank you to Glasgow

Deducible
Oliver was born with craniosynostosis....
In short it means his skull had fused too early and he was born with no soft spots, this can cause a build up of pressure on the brain and for the skull to grow abnormally.
He was referred to the neurosurgeons in Glasgow at 12 hours old!  I took him home that day and was told to observe for signs of pressure on the brain .

Luckily he has done nothing but thrive and is developing normally with a cheeky personality . He idolises his big brother Josh and smiles all day long he really is the most contented happiest baby.

As Oliver grew, his forehead became more prominent and I was told that due to his skull being mainly fused at the back ....his brain was now getting pushed forward

Oliver is now 4 months old and will be having full reconstructive surgery in 6 weeks!
It is a long, intense surgery and he will be in ICU for  a couple of days and then a weeks stay in hospital in Glasgow. We can't believe our little baby has to go through such a big operation so young but its needed to give him the best results possible.

This is so hard and scary but  we feel very fortunate that this is something that can be fixed and we feel Oliver is very lucky to have this life changing surgery.
So part of wanting to raise money was to give to those families at Glasgow childrens hospital who might not have the reassurance of a positive outcome or might have a longer journey ahead of them.

All money raised is in aid of Glasgow Childrens Hospital Charity and every donation will help.

Thank you in advance for any contribution to this cause especially in these uncertain times, it means so much to us.
We have also donated to the Ronald Mcdonald charity who are providing us with accomadation whilst Ollie is in hospital which is a huge help!! So if you can spare it....next time you get a double cheeseburger stick a coin in the box for them.
Thank you for reading
