"Help little Lucas"

A request from the heart on behalf of a family we hold so close to our hearts!
I received a phone call from a very dear friend of mine and I'm sure many of yours too Candace Skor right before the Holiday's in such distress. Her son Christopher went in to pick his 9 month old son Lucas up from his nap and he was non responsive and was very limp, they called 911 got him into the ER and did an EKG since his heart rate was so high, found out that Lucas had a moderate size hole in his heart and a heart murmur. His heart was racing at 250 beats, this sometimes requires open heart surgery, along with that he had Rino Virus which is what caused him to desat at home. He's had trouble drinking his bottle and breathing at the same time which that and other signs were now making sense why!
In recent tests they have found that Lucas tested positive for a genetic disorder called DiGeorge Syndrome or otherwise known as 22q11 Deletion Syndrome. They had taken new images of his heart and had found that the hole in his heart is now being classified as large rather than moderate. Lucas is now scheduled for open heart surgery January 26th at Children's Hospital in St. Louis. (They have been intending to move back to Simi Valley, Calif. but have been delayed due to the recent change and seriousness with Lucas's heart condition.)
This would be such a help and blessing to them right now facing so much and the unknown expenses they'll have to endure.
Im asking for your help and prayers in any way possible for little Lucas with his upcoming open heart surgery and with his mom & dad Nicole and Christopher Skor.
All proceeds will be going to them directly to help them through this as much as possible.
I and the family thank you so much ahead of time and I also ask if you find it in your heart to forward this on to others especially during this Holiday Season where this would be beyond a gift they could ever imagine!
