<div>Thank you to everyone who has supported my 6-year-old cousin Gael as he bravely battles a rare and aggressive form of leukemia at UCSF’s pediatric cancer unit.

<div>Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart. We have received devastating news about Gael’s future. He is losing his battle with this rare leukemia, and it has shattered all of us. Our focus now is on surrounding him and his parents with as much love and support as possible.
