On Monday, June 22, at 10:39am, I received a call from my nephew that changed everything: 'Nana's house is on fire.' Nothing could ever prepare you for news like that. My mother, Lisa, has lived in her home since 1984. She raised myself and my two sisters there, and shared countless memories with her five grandchildren. The house was more than just a building—it was the heart of our family.

Now, she faces the challenge of starting over, finding a temporary place to stay, and covering lost wages from missing work during this tragedy.
