Help Lisa Overcome Health and Financial Crisis

My name is Sarah Searcy and I am setting up a GoFundMe on behalf of Lisa Crofton. Her child is a close friend of my daughters and they've been friends since kindergarten. Lisa, has worked her whole life to support her family and has come on some very challenging times which have her facing eviction.

Lisa was diagnosed with polyneuropathy in 2020 at just 31 years of age. Adding to her challenges, her partner and child's father, as well as her remaining parent have passed away within the past few years, leaving her responsible for caring for her younger brother in their cramped one-bedroom apartment. As you can imagine, being the sole provider is a very stressful task which has had an effect on her health. As a result, her polyneuropathy has gotten progressively worse. Two months ago, Lisa fell and has been unable to walk since. This forced her to quit her job as she is confined to her apartment. Her work provided the only income for her family. All of the loss and tragedies have taken a toll on Lisa's child, who is now experiencing anxiety and depression.

Lisa is so used to taking care of everyone else, but really could use some help from the community to cover medical bills and her past due rent as well as future rent to prevent her from being evicted and allow some time for her to progress physically so that she can work again to provide for her family. I know these are challenging times for many of us, but this family could use all the support they can get and Lisa is so grateful for any help.

All money will go towards past due rent, medical bills, and sustaining their family until LIsa’s health allows her to return to work and provide for her family as she always has.
