<div>On June 9, 2025 our dear friend, Lisa was severely injured when a car backed over her head, neck, chest and foot.  She suffered 7 broken ribs, broken sternum, a punctured lung, liver laceration and broken bones in her foot and toes. To add insult to injury she already had a broken right hand and left wrist.  She had emergency surgery June 10 to plate some of the broken ribs and save her life.

<div>Lisa, is a single mom of a large family with many children still at home.  She is looking at months of recovery, rehab and pain management.  It will not be possible for her to maintain her full- time employment, which is vital in caring for her family.  Some of her children have special needs and require a higher level of care.  A great amount of attention is being spent to ensure that all the children are well cared for and that their lives remain as normal as possible.  Lisa’s entire life is centered around her children and their needs.  She gives 110% of her time, attention, love and compassion to them.  She is an extraordinary mother (and grandmother) who goes above and beyond to make sure that every child feels special and loved.

<div>As caring friends, we know that she and her family would be greatly blessed by the generosity of others who are willing and able to help them get through this traumatic and painful time.  All Lisa wants to do is get back to her family and continue doing what she was doing before.
