Help Lisa and her family ( Lisa's Pawfect )

On Sunday, December 26th, 2021, Lisa Ouellette was doing what she does best at her pet grooming salon when she badly injured herself and dislocated her knee. The owner of Lisa's Pawfect Pet Grooming, who was alone with two dogs at the time, was attempting to take a picture of her latest client when she when slipped on water and fell to the ground. It took more than 20 minutes for a paramedic to get to her, and luckily, they were able to help her get the assistance she required at the moment.

Because she is self-employed, Lisa, the owner of a small business, will not be receiving any income for quite a while as she heals from her injuries. Because she is a pillar of our community and a member of our extended families, we ask for help from you, our wonderful community, to help her and her family get through this difficult time. The business side of things remains a genuine part of the puzzle – and the capacity to pay for upcoming regular expenses will render the healing process smoother for Lisa and her family, as she will be able to rest and recover without added stress and worry.

Those who know Lisa and her husband appreciate the fact that they are hard workers and rarely ask for help.  She worked throughout her pregnancy and returned to her grooming salon only three weeks after receiving a C-section because she couldn't afford maternity leave.  COVID also shut down her business twice and recently, Bradley was laid off for winter and revenue is very tight.  The funds will be carefully used for feeding her horses, goats, paying her business rent, her physio, loss of salary and mortgage.   

Lisa got hurt doing what she loves doing most - and we wish her well and can't wait for her to return to her grooming salon.
