I'm Lisa, a single mom, and those are my daughters, Peyton and Katelynn. They are amazing and strong young women. We gave up everything to move here and start a family with my now ex-fiancé. After enduring 2 years of abuse, he was gone, thank God, and we thought that was the end of it. It wasn't. Almost $60k in debt, he left me and stuck in a lease until November in not the safest neighborhood, but we've managed to pay the rent, car insurance, etc. He left me with his phone bill as well, so mine is going to get shut off.

His latest stunt is dangerous though. As you know, Memphis is having a terrible storm. He waited until yesterday afternoon while we were at work to go into MLGW and demand they turn off the electricity, gas, and water, which they did. By the time we got home from work, it was too late for them to send someone out. To top it off, on Monday when I go to try to have them turn it on in my name, I have to assume his debt on his bill of just over $3200. We don't have that kind of money nor can we afford a hotel room. My kids and I are in desperate need of help. We have nowhere to go or money to do anything.

If you can't donate, please share this with everyone you know and tag people in the comments, like news stations in Memphis or anyone you think might be able to help. Even if you can only share or donate a dollar, it all helps. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this . We are trying to come up with the past bill and a hotel until Tuesday. Anything above that, if there is any, will help replace our tires as he left us with bald tires also.
