<div>Lindsay Homer-Travers is a disabled combat veteran and a single mom of three children. After years of fighting to get here, she has finally been approved and placed on the transplant list for a double lung transplant.

<div>Lindsay served in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years with the 171st Air Refueling Wing, working as a journeyman in the Traffic Management Office. She separated as a Staff Sergeant (E-5) and was part of security and logistics support for a U.S. Presidential Inauguration and the 2009 G20 Summit. She also deployed overseas to Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar.

<div>While deployed in Iraq, Lindsay was exposed to toxic smoke from military burn pits. That exposure has now led to a rare and irreversible lung disease called Bronchiolitis Obliterans, often called "popcorn lung." The small airways in her lungs have become scarred and blocked, and that damage cannot be reversed. A double lung transplant is her only path forward.

<div>Lindsay is a single mom raising three kids: a 13-year-old son and 12-year-old twin daughters. Even while facing this diagnosis, she has kept showing up for them every single day.

<div>Lindsay's transplant will take place in Cleveland, which means she and her family will need to temporarily relocate away from home for the surgery and the recovery period that follows. This fundraiser is to help cover:
