<div>Hi, my name is Linda, and I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share this very personal chapter of my journey with you.

<div>Back in 2009, I underwent weight loss surgery, and it truly changed my life. But like many, my story didn’t stop there. A few years later, I experienced a hormonal shift that triggered a severe lipedema flare. I regained weight, and with it came frustration, pain, and a deep sense of discouragement. For a while, I gave up.

<div>That all changed when I discovered GLP-1 medications. Since December 2024, I’ve been on compounded tirzepatide, and it has been an absolute game changer. To date, I’ve released 64 pounds of inflammation, and I can finally see and feel the changes — not just on the scale, but in how I move and live.

<div>Now, I’m ready for the next step: abdominoplasty (tummy tuck surgery). At almost 63, I want to feel as good on the outside as I’m starting to feel on the inside. The lower belly hang causes daily discomfort — it pulls on my back, creates painful friction, and makes hygiene and exercise more difficult than they need to be. I’m ready to be free from that burden.
