<div>My name is Linda, and I am reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of my life. My son is autistic, and after a recent fight with the owner's son at the trailer where we lived, he was forced to leave. I am handicapped and unable to drive, and we live in a rural area, which has made everything even more difficult. I haven't seen my son in almost two weeks, and being separated from him has been heartbreaking. Right now, my son has no jacket and only the clothes on his back, and it’s cold outside. We are both struggling, and I have tried calling so many organizations for help, but nothing has worked. The stress and worry have taken a toll on my health, and I have been struggling with panic attacks and hunger as I try to figure out our next steps. Today is Thanksgiving, and instead of being together, my son and I are apart. I don’t feel thankful at all—I just want him back with me. There are moments when it feels like giving up is the only option, but I am holding on for my son.
