Hi all! I'm not usually one to ask for money or anything but this time Lily and I are kind of in dire straits. My mother has completely abandoned our house, whom I am currently living with along with my younger sister, and my girlfriend, Lily. On July 1st (at time of writing: 6 days away), we are risking losing our housing due to my grandparents needing to sell it because they are bleeding money.
My mom has not paid the bills for the house in months, and while I was working full-time she was neither seeking employment, nor unemployment, or disability pay. She has asked me to forge a school schedule so that "she can get another room in her government allotted housing" because "getting a one bedroom apartment is absurd." In addition, the card supplied to us by the government for food stamps has been taken from my younger sister and I so we have no way of paying for food outside of my dwindling savings account.
Furthermore, Lily is fleeing a transhphobic and financially and emotionally abusive household where she is gouged for money while trying to save up to move out. Her only option is being where she knows someone, which has become with me.
What we are seeking is enough money to place a down-payment, pay one month's rent, and some groceries for the time being.
