<div>Lilly — Wolfgang Amadeus Lillehammer — is 15 years old and still going strong. She’s more than a beloved companion: Lilly has been a canine ambassador, starring in my book Service Dogs in America: Legal Issues, appearing publicly to help reform the county animal code, and offering comfort as a de facto therapy dog to hundreds of people over the years.

<div>This month, Lilly is doing much better, and I fully expect her to be with us for several more years. She still needs a full blood panel and possibly non-steroidal medication to manage age-related arthritis and stay comfortable. This fundraiser helps cover her veterinary care so she can continue enjoying her golden years.

<div>In the event that Lilly’s lifetime needs are fully met, any remainder will fund a public commemoration and educational event celebrating senior dogs, their care, and community awareness — (eg. reservation and event fess at Tuckers Grove Dog Park.
