<div>My best friend Tori had one of the worst evenings when her beloved Malino mix Libby Lou went from snuggling on the couch to barley breathing on the floor. Her stomach was hard and she wouldn't get up. Libby was rushed to the emergency vet.

<div>She underwent x-rays upon arrival and was put on fluids. Unable to tell what was wrong with Libby, she stayed the night.
</div>
<div>Yesterday morning Libby underwent surgery to remove her spleen as it was wrapping itself around her stomach.
</div>
<div>Libby is in the emergency unit recovering while the vets work to figure out why this happened. Right now we have more questions than answers and I am hoping to take some of that financial stress off of Tori so she can focus on Libby getting better and take a few days off work and stay home with Libby while she recovers.
