<div>Hi, my name is Liam. After years of living with severe tics and undergoing brain surgery just a few months ago, I’m working toward my next step in healing and independence: adopting and training a service dog. I’m raising funds to cover adoption fees and professional training costs so I can give this dog — and myself — the best possible future.

</div>
<div>Hi, my name is Liam, and I’m fundraising to adopt and train a female dog (around 1–3 years old) to become my service dog.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For all of my life, I’ve lived with severe tics and neurological challenges that have deeply affected my daily functioning, independence, and mental health. Over the years, this led to countless difficult days, hospital visits, and ultimately brain surgery just a few months ago — a major turning point in my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recovery hasn’t been easy. Healing isn’t linear, and learning how to live again in my body has taken patience, faith, and constant effort. But through all of this, something unexpected and incredibly meaningful happened.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the past months, I’ve had the opportunity to foster several dogs, and the impact they’ve had on me has been profound. For the first time in a long time, I felt grounded. Regulated. Safe. The bond I formed with these dogs helped ease my tics, lowered my anxiety, and gave me a sense of purpose and routine that I hadn’t felt in years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s when I realized that a service dog isn’t just something I want — it’s something that could genuinely change my life.

<div>Why a Service Dog
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A properly trained service dog would help me with:
</div>
<div>• Grounding during tic episodes
</div>
<div>• Interrupting anxiety and sensory overload
</div>
<div>• Providing stability and emotional regulation
</div>
<div>• Supporting daily independence as I continue healing
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>⸻
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why I Need Help
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While I’m deeply committed to this journey, the costs are significant:
</div>
<div>• Adoption fees
</div>
<div>• Initial veterinary care
</div>
<div>• Professional service dog training
</div>
<div>• Equipment and certifications
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, I’m unable to cover these costs on my own, which is why I’m asking for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation — no matter the size — brings me one step closer to building a future where I can live with more confidence, stability, and independence.
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me as I step into this next chapter of healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div>Liam
