Help Liam and Mason Plan for their Future

Mason is an 8th grader at Hingham middle school and his brother Liam is a sophomore at Hingham High School. Mason and Liam have been dealt a tough hand at a very young age. Their mom tragically passed away 4 years ago. Mason, Liam and their dad Kevin live with Mason and Liams grandparents in Hingham where Kevin grew up. Last year they suffered the loss of their grandmother leaving Kevin, his 2 boys and his dad to fend for themselves.
Tragically 2 weeks ago Mason and Liam lost their dad Kevin at the young age of 43, leaving the boys with no parents. Our collective hearts break for these boys and as a community we can help make their future brighter. Their dad Kevin coached HYF and also served as equipment manager for several seasons. He was always involved with his boys and his loss leaves a big void in their lives. He will be missed by many.
Mason and Liam have a loving family and will continue to live with their grandfather here in Hingham.
Losing both of your parents is an unthinkable hardship for any child. Over the past few weeks an irrevocable trust has been set up for Mason and his brother Liam. The purpose of the trust is to help the boys plan for the future as they graduate high school and look to college or starting a career. Their aunt Jill Medeiros will serve as trustee and will ensure the money raised will be used to provide much needed meaningful support to both Mason and Liam.
While money isn't the only support the boys will need, this fund can really help them as they deal with the loss of their parents.
