<div>My name is Lexi, and I’m starting this go fund me for my mother.
</div>
<div>She has been in an abusive relationship for about a year. During the course of that year, things have been very difficult and I have feared for her life more times than I can count. My sister also lives with her.
</div>
<div>This man has manipulated and abused my mother verbally, emotionally, and physically. Insults, threats of suicide if she leaves him, constantly starting fights, going through here phone and stealing all of her passwords, HISTORY OF BRUTAL PHYSICAL ABUSE with past exes, pathological liar (for example, in order to get my mom’s immediate attention he will tell her he’s been stabbed, beaten, or robbed, which are all lies), directly threatening to kill her exes including my biological father, stealing her card information to buy apple products and DoorDash online, drugging my mother to stay awake with him at night (there’s no 100% clear evidence of this, but my mother strongly suspects it), blackmail, telling my mother that he needs to be her priority, even over her daughters. My mom has called the cops on him multiple times as well. He has also showed up randomly to her house to argue with my mom and sister in the past, calling my sister disgusting names.
</div>
<div>My mom had tried to leave him MANY times, calling me on the phone (since we live in different states) and telling me how awful he is, just to get back with him again because he manipulated her into it.
</div>
<div>Fast forward to recent events, she left him again. This time assuming for good, considering she’s been avoiding him for an entire month, keeping him blocked on all platforms.
</div>
<div>Of course, during that time he’s been harassing my mother via texts and phone calls, using different emails to reach her. Doing all he can to get her attention. Going so far as to posting her old, personal, INTIMATE conversations with another man from her past, on facebook for his friends to see. Saying that he will delete them if she gets back with him. Blackmail.
</div>
<div>The day before yesterday, he threatened to kill my mother and sister, and then end his life. All of this is documented via text message, which I can provide as well if needed. My mom called the police immediately after he said that, they came over shortly after. The police seem to not care about this entire situation, not taking it that serious according to my mother. My sister said the police treated my mother like shit. They then went to HIS house to “talk” to him. The fact that they didn’t arrest him immediately on the spot just baffles me!!! He’s warning my mom that he’s going to kill her, and the police won’t immediately lock him up. Disgusting “injustice” system if you ask me.
</div>
<div>Yesterday around 4-5pm, she got the restraining order and pressed charges. They gave him until 8:30pm to turn himself in. He obviously did not. So they EXTENDED when he’s able to turn himself in to MONDAY. MONDAY IS 3 FULL DAYS AWAY. My mom asked them why it was extended, and they said “it’s protocol”. So it’s protocol to LIE saying he will get arrested if he doesn’t show up? I’m so pissed off.
</div>
<div>My mom doesn’t have money for a lawyer, or even to sue the police station for not protecting her and her daughter. Unfortunately this disgusting abusive ex-boyfriend has money from his rich millionaire parents, and is able to get out of jail anytime he wants. His parents WILL bail him out.
</div>
<div>My mother needs the money to get a lawyer/ sue if needed, and move out of her house. I’m helping her wipe her data off the internet so he won’t be able to search her new address if she gets one.
</div>
<div>Please donate and share this, even $1 helps. If you are unable to donate, share this to your story and/or to someone who is able to help. I will be donating as much as I can personally as well. Thank you for reading.
</div>
<div>!!!!! For her and my personal safety, I will not be sharing names, faces, or locations. !!!!!
