<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lexie Lawler was fired for political speech.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She is a liberal woman who used her personal social media — on her own time — to sharply criticize a public figure tied to a cruel, harmful administration. Her words were blunt, angry, and unapologetic. They were directed at power, not her workplace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That speech was lawful.
</div>
<div>The retaliation was real.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After right-wing backlash and online targeting, her employer chose risk management over free expression — and terminated her instead of standing up for her rights.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is part of a familiar pattern:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Outspoken women punished
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Political dissent as labeled “unprofessional.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Institutions caving to outrage campaigns
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A chilling effect meant to keep people quiet
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why This Fund Exists
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a legal defense fund to push back against:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Retaliation</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Silencing</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Weaponized outrage</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Corporate cowardice</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Government Overreach</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds go toward employment and civil rights counsel so Lexie can defend herself without being financially bullied into silence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The government stepped in to make an example of her.
</div>
<div>No one gets an emergency suspension without a patient, off duty, and no prior violations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why It Matters
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>If criticizing power costs you your job or your license, speech isn’t free; it’s conditional.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe women shouldn’t lose their livelihoods for refusing to tone it down, stand with Lexie.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Donate if you can.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Share if you can’t.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Solidarity beats silence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is about every licensed individual out there, not just one.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fund was created by Tim Lawler, husband of Lexie Lawler.
