Help for Alester's final expenses

Alexandra "Lexi" Reyna is a typical happy go lucky teenage who just turned 15 a couple months ago.  On June 1st Lexi was seen in the ER because she had been having pain in her arm.  While in the ER they took x-rays and within 5 minutes doctors knew cancer was present.  The hospital kept her overnight where additional tests including an MRI was done.  By the time she went home they had the devastating news that she most likely a form of osteosarcoma.

Living in Traverse City, MI there is no hospital equipped to treat pediatric cancer requiring extensive travel to Grand Rapids which is about a 3 1/2 hours drive each way.  On Thursday she had her first consult with the pediatric oncologist and the pediatric oncology surgeon in Grand Rapids.  Sunday night she will be traveling back to Grand Rapids and early Monday morning the journey begins.  She will be having a biopsy, CT scan to see if the cancer has spread, and possibly other procedures. 

We are asking for donations to help with expenses for travel, lodging, food, and care expenses for Lexi's younger brother who is autistic.  Due to Covid-19 the family has been left with only unemployment and a monthly disability payment for income.   Currently because of Covid-19 Ronald McDonald house, Hope Lodge, and the Renucci Hospitality House that all provide discounted or free lodging are closed.
